Advantages: Cheap way to rediscover your childhood

Disadvantages: Only so much room to keep them

I suppose I'm at that certain age where I can just about remember the origional trilgy the first time round, and can remember getting some Starwars toys as christmas presents when I was small.

Now I've finally got some disposable income it seems my desire to rediscover my childhood days through purcasing starwars figures eats up a large slice of my wages!

You can pick up starwars figures very cheaply at the moment, from as little as £2 in some places. There are loads to collect, and they look pretty good on display - I keep them in the packaging and have them pinned up on cork tiles in my spare room.

There is a reasonalbe chance they will increase in value in the future. Even if they don't, such is the long term appeal of Starwars, your kids and grandkids in the future may well want them!

I had a Princess Leia doll in the 1970s. I took her hair out of those curls and called her Romana. I still prefer Dr. Who, LOL !!
