Advantages: Good tackler and captain

Disadvantages: SLOW and too old now

Tony Adams is without a doubt a great leader for club and country but thats all he has except for good tackling. I really don't feel he any longer has what it takes to be an England player.

He is now just soooooooooo slow and just can't keep up with the pace of the National Game and now the domestic game.

He's had his time and it's now time to cut our losses and say goodbye to Tony as an England player and hand the captaincy to Sol Campbell.

We need to use our new boys like Rio Ferdinand, Gareth Barry and Kieron Dyer. To let them gel in defence and to get experience before World Cup 2002.
