There is always uproar when peoples lifestyle suffers because of their age or colour or sex or physical ability , however nobody seems to pay any mind to the fat people of this world! Some people have genuine medical conditions causing them to become FAT! why I ask should this affect their lifes in such a way that other issues affect the previously mentioned often discriminated members of our society?

Tables in cafe`s , and restaurants are often set out in such a way that fat people struggle to be seated other discriminatees either have designated areas or don`t have this problem!

Public Transportation does not cater for large people before you get on a bus or train it is hard to find a seat with enough surface area to support your behind and then upon boarding buses other than the seats assigned to elderly, disabled or passengers with pushchairs there is very rarely any seats that will acommodate anyone much larger than 16 / 17 stones in weight! Trains and planes and ferries apply also!

Theme parks which charge an entry fee give discounts to elderly and disabled people on account they may not be able to enjoy the rides and other attractions on offer! Signs at the front of queues for the said rides and attractions often display a cutout of a small person stating you may not ride if you are below this height,a 5" fat person must stand in line for 1 hour and then face the shame of being told "sorry you are too big the safety harness will not fit"

These are just a few mentionable discriminations towards our larger members of society on top of the childish , ignorant name calling and adverse looks that I`m sure most other discriminatees are subject to!

HOWEVER I HAVE HEARD VERY LITTLE MEDIA COVERAGE ON THE STATE OF BRITAINS FATISM!
