Jean Alesi - A wasted talent (Jean Alesi)

Advantages: Experience, Immense skill Disadvantages: Wasted career, fiery temper
Jean Alesi surprised many people in 1991 when he turned down a Williams seat, and he may be regretting that now. In the more than 150 Grands Prix he has contested, he has only one once, in Canada 1995, and does not look like winning again in a hurry, if he stays with Prost. Had he taken up the Williams seat, he might have taken a few more victories, and possibly even a World Championship. He is still one of the best drivers in modern F1, but along with former Ferrari and Benneton team-mate Gerhard Berger, he never had the chance to show it. Summary: |
