I first used this alternative (alternative is not the right word, complementary is more suitable) medicine for strong migraines and period pains and they always have an excellent effect on me where normal medication would not do any single difference. I have been suffering from migraine for over 15 years now and despite taking several medication I still was in a bad physical state. One day my doctor, also fed up to see me like that, worded out Homeopathy. I was not familiar with this new concept to me so he explained me the possible effects and the way it works. To be honest I haven’t memorised every detail but I suppose the more important is my strong headaches are significantly reduced. I also gave dissolving homeopathic tablets to my daughter who was suffering from teething pains. I can tell you nights since then have been so much less hectic and we all beneficiated from it. I’ll try to give a brief on Homeopathy: It was originated several hundred years ago: physicians noticed that a substance produced in a disease could also be used to treat that disease and if it was administered in extremely diluted form. It appeared that this triggered the body's defence mechanisms, helping the body to heal itself. For instance, twelve key mineral salts were identified as having important effects on the long-term efficiency of body functions. Here are some of the substances used: Vegetal origin: About 1500 vegetal species are used, 90% are wild plants taken from their natural place. #Animal origin: Crushed insects (ants, bees, spiders…) and poisons and secretions of different animals appeared to be powerful therapeutic means. #Mineral origin: Natural salts, selected metals in the purest state possible and then transformed to become homeopathic products. #There are also microbial origin:(forgive me for the use of the term biotherapy but I tried to find a translation but I ca
me up with nothing else) #Biotherapy: Remedies prepared from this origin (vaccines, serums) or from pathologic secretions used to treat infections. #Organs origin: They come from extracts of glands and tissues (kidney, thyroid…). Today, homeopathy is enjoying a great surge of interest. The idea of treating minor conditions in a subtle, natural way, using an extended course of gentle treatment, rather than the "sudden sharp shock" of modern drugs, appeals to many physicians and patients. The modern view of Homeopathy is that the remedies work on the whole body, by addressing and correcting any imbalances within the body's cells, and also taking into account emotional factors. A real discovery for me. Please note: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>> Homeopathic remedies can be effective in the treatment of minor problems but, as with any Academy Health product, IF CONDITIONS PERSIST, PLEASE SEE YOUR DOCTOR. Eheh I always wanted to say something like that…any homeopathic process badly led involves internal imbalance and thus disease - although there is no bad indication with the catch of homeopathic substances - because they are products having an action on the metabolism. However Homeopathy must not delay a medical opinion because Homeopathy does not replace " normal " medicine but it does complement it. Let’s be clear on this point. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>>>> You have different homeopathic combination and the range of medicine can go from teething pain to periods pains, muscles pains, indigestion, migraines…all depends really on the area you want to treat. Ask your local chemist for the different products for sale and related to your specification. I hope this wee statement will be more than useful to you and it is clear enough to have a broad knowledge of Homeopathy. Than

- 28/09/01 Used properly natural remedies can be very useful. Some people however overdose themselves in the mistaken belief that if its natural it must be good. |
