Mayday has always been the prime time for protests, and there always seems to be several arrests to coincide with them, and a general subdued almost fearful atmosphere form the folk uninvolved(by far the majority) that once again the thugs will come along with hippies to ruin the day yet again. It seems to me that there has been an awful lot trouble over the years to do with supposedly peaceful protests, and the issues they bring. The people who protest generally seem to think they're doing the right thing, that they're cause is just and things should be changed.
