Disadvantages: Abit of pressure to buy the products but you don't have to, products can be expensive

I went to my first ann summers party the other month. The party had been organised by my friend and her housemate. My friend invited me and around 11 other people. First impressions were that there was a big mix up at the ann summer party organisers end and we had been passed on to other organisers with a serious lack of communication and the orginal rep had taken the wrong phone number down so the party itself was nearly cancelled when everyone was already at the house waiting for her to arrive. My friends housemate did ring and eventually we did manage to secure an organiser at the last minute.

After the inital hiccups once the ann summers rep had arrived later than expected we finally got the party itself underway.
Unfortunatley we did have a couple of guests have to leave due to the party being delayed but nevertheless we carried on with a smaller party
group.

First of all when the organiser came in she set up a rail of outfits and unpacked everything then introduced herself.
We were then given naughty names for the night and if we got it wrong and used our normal names then the loser had to wear a plastic willy on their head.

We then played this quite fun game in which you had to give various normal everyday answers and then other rude questions were read out and you had to give the same answers to then which resulted in lots of laughter and fun. We started to enjoy the party with a few drinks and more party games. The winner of the party games also won small ann summers related prizes.

After the party games we were told information about becoming a rep ourselves and arranging other parties. We were also given catalogues to look through. Then some of the guests tried on various outfits.
The organiser also showed us some of the products ann summers sells so we got to see what they were like and discuss them.

After this we had a raffle where everyone wins a prize and got some quite good prizes which would cost a quid or two more than the raffle ticket price which was just £3 so it was worth doing. I won a stripper mug which is quite novel.

All in all it was quite a fun night in with my girl mates with lots of giggles and alchohol. It was really informal and fun and I would go to one again.

Summary: A fun night and I would go to another ann summers party if I was invited.
