Advantages: You save time in the long run

Disadvantages: You need to know what you want to do

I am an Upper 6th Form student preparing to take my 'A' Levels.
I think that they are a blueprint for the rest of your life. It is the first chance in life you get to start to specialize in a particular area of work.
If you want to be a vet, there's no point in taking Geography, Physics and History. You need to be taking Biology, Chemistry and Maths.
I'm taking Physics, Geography and Maths because I want to do an engineering course at uni, not a arts course.
OK, I admit you can change in the future and take other 'A' Levels but you lose 3 or 4 years of your life respecializing
