Are Ghosts Real?
Advantages: I've never met a skeptic that's been haunted
Disadvantages: Some people don't like the idea that death is the end
I don't really need one hundred and fifty words for this, one will suffice: No. Ghosts are not real. I have never seen any evidence which convinces me that there has ever been any type of paranormal activity anywhere. Not a single thing. The dooyoo admin folks are going to tell me off for repeating myself here but I cannot reiterate the point enough: there is no life after death. And before the believers out ther accuse me of being closed-minded, let me assure you, I am open minded on this matter. If you can provide me with a single piece of evidence that I find convincing I will retract this review and spread the word that things that go bump in the night are indeed real. But no-one has provided me with this evidence as yet and I doubt they ever will, but as every good scientific type should be, I'm willing to be proved wrong. I understand that many people like to believe in ghosts because they would like to believe in life after death or that their relatives are looking after them from beyond the grave. I haven't got a problem with people wanting to believe this but I don't and can't believe this. It doesn't make me heartless or without sentiment, on the contrary I think life in the real world is so great that I don't need to believe that when I die I'll go to 'a better place'. When I die, that's it, the end. And if I'm wrong... well, maybe I'll go and haunt Dawkins ;)
Summary: This is it, enjoy it while you're still here
