Aston Villa F.C. ... club. The club's home ground is Villa Park in Aston, Birmingham. They currently play in the Premier League. Aston Villa were founding members of Football League in 1888 and of the Premier League in 1992. It is one of the oldest and most successful football clubs in England. Villa had the longest unbeaten start to the 2006-07 Premiership campaign, not losing until 28 October 2006. But they found it increasingly hard to win games as the season progressed, and as of 7 March 2007 they have still only attained seven Premiership victories all season. As a result, they now occupy 13th place in the league.

Aston Villa are one of those annoying under achievers that have everything in place for success and riches bar leadership. Chairman Ellis blocks any real serious team building with the checkbook whilst Gregory does every thing he can to contain the players attacking instincts. All due respect to Vassal and Taylor but local boys are not nesscarily the best to be playing for trophies Hadji isn’t getting enough field time for his talent and Merson looks older.
