Advantages: Shows what the human race resort to, like a mirror's reflection

Disadvantages: Impossible situation to solve,

Terrorism has never before been a bigger issue than it is today. The problem I have with it is that if America, and indeed the rest of the world, want to combat terrorism, then I don't really think that banning veils etc. is the way to go about it. I admit, catching a train late at night on your own with a group of completly covered women (head to toe) is rather frightening, however in this situation I would just imagine being the woman underneath. When one is wearing a hat or glasses, you do not look the same but inside you feel you look just as normal as everyone else.

America stereotypically has an image of stupidity and rashness and the war in Iraq, in my opinion, can only strengthen this in people's eyes. America also stereotypically has an anti-islamic attitude, also strengthened by it's alledged "favouritism" towards Israel. If America could lose these two images then the war on terror would in turn be a lot easier to win.

Of course there are extremists that are so committed to their cause that even if there are no longer any resentent toward America they will insist on attacking. This might as well be catagorised defferently to terrorism though.

All in all it's a difficult situation with no easy answer but a little more respect and agape (love for your fellow human being, whoever they are) would go a long way to end this "war". Everyone would love "world peace" but realistically this is never going to happen, just as world poverty is an ever turning circle, I fear terrorism will constantly reign...

Summary: Although thought impossible, sympathy and value for each other for both sides will help though
