UK time 4.30pm Tuesday September 11th.
America has been bombed by Terrorists. The World Trade centre has been bombed and has collapsed. All US and Canadian Airports have been closed. The Pentagon has also been bombed.

America is on a Coast to Coast State of alert.

Canary Wharf,The London Stock exchange and the parliament buildings have been evacuated.

Many Americans have been killed and the knock on effect to all other countries is great.

Now, I'm not disputing what a serious event this is and I am not trying to take anything away from what is going on in America.
This is a total waste of innocent lives. A complete tragedy.

Uk TV stations have cancelled their normal programming to cover what is going on and keep everyone informed.
I can understand that.

What I want to know is, why are we all so shocked? because it is America? because in a country like America security should be better? How much warning did Washington and New York actually have?

If this had happened in Ireland it would have got a five minute slot on the evening news.

When the Warrington bombing happened, did everything in America and the rest of the world stop?

I could be wrong but I don't think the Warrington bombing even got the amount of coverage in the UK that America is getting.

Other countries suffer from Terrorism on a weekly or daily basis. They never get this sort of coverage.

As I said what has happened in America is a terrible thing and who knows where it may lead.

Worst case scenario.... World War 3
