I have been up the twin towers and realise the size of the buildings and the number of people who work there 50,000. How many of those poor innocent people got out of their today never mind the people who were on the jumbo Jets.

I have CNN news on and its giving bulletins as and when it all happens and the more I hear of this the sicker in the stomach I feel about it. They think that maybe eight planes were hijacked today and although three are accountable with the twin towers and the pentagon they still think that two others have crashed and the other three are unaccountable for.

This is a day when we look back and remember with so much sorrow like the day Kennedy was shot. The talks are that this has come from the Middle East and it also worries me as to what retaliation will occur. I understand that we can’t just stand back and let these sorts of things happen but do we start the third world war, what next nuclear bombs? Whilst being very passionate about beliefs where do you draw the line, what sick mind masterminded such a terrorist act? How many other innocent people will be killed in retaliation and back and forth in tit and tat hits.

I’m now thirty-nine with three young kids and it really worries me as to what future there is for our children and their children’s children. I’m not religious but sometimes it makes you wonder what is going on and if there is a God then why do these things happen and why is there so much death in the name of religion.

I hope over the next few days that things improve but I doubt it very much this could be the start of a very rough ride for the whole world. Its something I never ever dreamed of and that the American Government never thought would happen and I hope will never happen again to any nation.
