A new blockbuster has been released from The UBL Film Corporation, containing yet more anti-US propoganda, and has re-focused the attention of the Allies on dismantling Usama bin Laden's Al-Qaeda organisation. It seems, that whether or not the head of this appalling operation is still alive, there is no doubt that his buddy Mullah Mohammed Omar is, as are some of their trusted sidekicks. There can also be no doubt, that as we are all engaged in the War against global Terror, these rodents will attempt to strike again. The point is that Al-Qaeda have, despite their absurd hatred of anything "un-Islamic", capitalised on the wave of anti-American racism sweeping the Mid East, and indeed fanatical elements of Asian communities around the world, not least in the United Kingdom. There are many factions of so-called "Islamist" fundamentalists around the world who are dedicated and willing to use any weapon of terror to rid the Arabian peninsula of "infidels" (i.e. Western coalition strategic interests in that region) and to establish a Muslim superstate there (on the Taliban or Iranian models) to rival the world's one remaining superpower (the USA). It is our duty as upholders of Freedom and our way of life, to fight Terror in all it's forms, and do our bit in the Homeland fight. Many Leftist/green types lambast the War on Terror, partly because of it's success thus far, and ingrained anti-American racism that is fundamental to many Leftist ideas. Many people despise America because of their perceived economic prosperity, peaceful way of life, and foreign policy objectives, precisely the same foreign policy that has kept this country and others in our secure situation since the Second World War. They are also critical of the Allie's attitude towards Israel, that is, an attitude of non-intervention. The fact that this has been disproved through Secretary of State Powell's visit to the Mid East this week is seemin
gly irrelevant. It is vital that Israel remains the strongest power in the region, not only to prevent the formation of this new Axis of Evil under an Iyatollah figurehead, but also to secure our fuel reserves, that the advances of the future Western world depend on. We need an influence in that part of the world, as it is a junction betwent East and West, major sea lanes regularly used by the British Trident and Arabian Fleets crucial for our nuclear deterrent. It is also a strategic buffer zone between Africa and Europe, useful for keeping that continent's tin-pot dictators from spreading their influence. Furthermore, in terms of US interests, the geo-political situation of South Asia in general is a crucial half-way house between the civilised world and the Eastern rogue states such as China, with Israel in particular providing vital technical, logistical and human intelligence. This is why we must support our Israeli allies, who live daily on the front line of Islamist Terror, for what is essentially, our benefit. It is all very well for mouthpieces on the Left to say Israel must withdraw from the occupied territories, but the occupied territories are hotbeds of Terror, recruiting grounds for Al-Qaeda and other such groups who will stop at nothing to see us all wiped off the face of the Earth- we must get them before they get us- as exemplified by New York, Washington and Pennsylvania on 9.11.01 and Jerusalem daily.

- 09/05/02 I wouldn't say America is peaceful. Some Arab countries lead a more peaceful life. However it depends on your definition of peaceful. USA is high in crime and violence.
Also, America is not innocent. I recently visited a bombed pharmacutical site in Khartoum a couple of years ago, and I couldn't think why it had been bombed - for what reason? |

- 09/05/02 There are many different Islamic groups. Some just lead their lives and leave people alone, others group together at university and try to encourage hatred amongst non-muslims. They even go to train how tofight (or rather kill.)
These are the people we should be worried about. They contain ssooo much hate it is unbelievable. |
