Surely the time has come for this tactically naive underacheiving waste of space to take a leaf out of Keegans book and bite the bullet. We give George Burley 'ef all time to achieve at the club and yet we have had this eejit in charge for five years now. What has he acheived? ..well....nothing. Nada. Now I realise that this is not strictlly true as both Dalzeil and his bumptious corpulent predecessor set a new european record for most players signed and used in a season. Who were theseaged and mottley colection of has-beens and duff foreigners? And where are they now? Who knows and who cares? Certainlly not me. Ayr are not a small club by Scottish standards, but yet we are constrained by Barr and his cronies and by there inept management of this club. 'Come the revolution I would urge you to spare the odd bullet for these unctious wastrels and at least two for Dalzeil, (just to make sure.)
On the bright side at least we never had the problems which have beset the likes of poor Hamilton, Morton, Airdrie, Raith, et cetera, et cetera..
We'd better save more than just a couple of bullets. "Honest men" - my a**e. Still, could be worse ....could be Killie b******s.
