They have got F1 back this year however and their coverage of that has actually been better than expected, good presenters and experts, lots of tv coverage and good highlights packages. Bbc sports and media, for me are 2 contrasting types of broadcasters. Theres the beebs coverage of sport on the tv and then theres their coverage online and on the radio. The tv coverage for me is pretty poor, they dont have many decent sports, and when they do some of the coverage is pretty poor. They have the odd england game and match of the day in football, along with this season about 6 championship games, i mean why so few?? The commentary is usually poor, johnathon pearce and jon motson are so very very annoying when watching a game. They have got F1 back this year however and their coverage of that has actually been better than expected, ...  Read the complete review

The BBC broadcast live sporting events troughout the year. Also online they provide a service which keeps you up to date with all the sports news, highlights from matches and all the scores, fixtures and tables. Around 5 years ago the BBC was the home of live England football international matches, live FA cup matches and all football matches highlights. But now 5 years on most of the rights to broadcast live matches have gone to rival Tv broadcaster ITV and some to Setanta who went bust earlier this year. But this year the BBC has introduced back the sport that people love Formula one back to were it belongs. Also they have introduced around 8 live ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BBC Sport & Media: Keep up to date your sporting needs (218 words)

BBC sport is great for your up to date sports news, live scores, team news, sports reviews and results. It would be one of my top choices to find out a specific sport's stories and their sources are genuine. They give neutral and sensible reviews of issues going along in the world of sport. Their website itself is very user friendly. Everything is laid out clearly and it is one of the rare websites that do not have any commercial advertising, so nothing to draw your attention away from what you are reading. They update their website nearly every ten minutes and they are quick off the mark when bringing breaking news. A new feature, which they have ...  Read the complete review

BBC have to be one of the best suppliers of Sport out there, and considering it is a terrestrial channel, they really do provide excellent service. The problem lies with money, and all the other channels like ITV, Sky Sports, Setanta seem to steal a lot of the shows away. So a license fee payer you receive sport through the TV but personally for me it is more about what the BBC Sport website provides. The website provides links to all the big sports, and many sports that you would not normally read up on. The information provided is pretty instant and with real time, so you always feel like you are the first to hear about the latest stories. For the events ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review BBC Sport & Media: Quick BBC Sport review (154 words)

BBC Sport is my 1st choice when looking at the latest scores and news for my favourite sports. One of the main advantages of BBC sport is its very much user friendly interface with easy menus to navigate and a matching colour coordinated display. BBC Sport also gives persons the opportunity to watch live sport on the web, providing that it is being shown on tv. Given the introduction of broadband a few years ago picture quality has been improved and now watching a major sporting event like the Open Golf Championship is very easy and picture quality is right up there with the TV. The BBC iPlayer which is used in conjunction with BBC Sport can help people who have missed ...  Read the complete review
