This is the type of baby product that you either love or hate. I love baby walkers for a number of reasons. I think firstly they enable babies to become more steady on their feet and learn how to start taking steps. Walkers also help to strengthen babies legs and feet as they move around rooms. I also love walkers because as a parent its ...  Read the complete review

My views are a bit divided about the whole 'baby walker' thing. My first daughter didn't crawl until she was 11 months and she walked at 12 months. She was not an inquisitive child and was quite content to sit where I left her and play with whatever was to hand. She was a very easy child to look after and I never even considered ...  Read the complete review

I have three children and for all of them I have used a baby walker. There has been a lot of debates around baby walkers, weather they slow down the progress of baby walking and if they are dangerous. For me I started to use a baby walker from around 6 months which was the point where my little ones wanted to see what was ...  Read the complete review

I don't think that baby walkers hinder your baby's progress with walking. All babies are different and progress differently. My son, (first born) was 15 months before he walked and 9 months before he crawled. He did use a baby walker a lot because he loved it. He had so much fun bombing around the house on the wooden floors. My friend's ...  Read the complete review

I have two children myself, a daughter of 7 and a son of 1, neither of whom have never used a baby walker. The main reason neither of them have ever had one is that at the time I had my daughter there were lots of scare stories going around about them, saying that they were dangerous and hindered a baby's natural development (I personally wouldn't ...  Read the complete review

The case FOR: Statistics I have found show that for every 34 babies injured in falls, only one is an accident involving a baby walker. Manufacturers even argue that it is possible that baby walkers may have in some cases even saved some children from injury. Walkers are not new. They have been around for many years. the dj baby walker is real value for money. it has really attractive colours which are good to keep the babys attention. they cost £50 but are well worth it in my opinion. seat can be adjusted to suit babys height. there is a tray which is detachable revealing another tray. on the top tray there is a variety of buttons which the baby can ...  Read the complete review

when my nephews boy turned the crawling age his mum decided to invest in a baby walker but we heard so much bad press on them they make babys end up walking on tip toe or either get to lazy to walk them self as there sat down at the same time on some of the walkers. but we thought we would give it a go so we went to our local argos and ...  Read the complete review

When I had my first son whos 5 years old now I was very sceptical about using a baby walker. Different people would tell me not to use it, it makes them walk on tip toes and others would say yes let them use it it strenghthens their legs. In the end I did choose to buy him a baby walker to help him get around. At 6 months he was really active ...  Read the complete review

Let me start this review by saying that throughout it I am referring to the type of baby walker that a child sits in the centre of and can make move on its wheels by making walking type movements rather than the type of walking aid pictured on this Dooyoo page. My whole family pays testament to the fact that baby walkers hinder not help ...  Read the complete review

I think baby walkers are great they helped me a lot when my daughters were younger. I have twin girls and when they were younger and were crawling around I found it hard to keep an eye on the other when you're giving one some milk or changing a nappy etc so it was easy for me to just put the other one in the walker then at least I knew they were ...  Read the complete review

My baby loves his baby walker!! A lot of people don't like baby walkers and prefer not to buy them for their children, as they believe they are dangerous. I think they could be dangerous especially is unsupervised. My child loves his baby walker and has so much fun when he is put into it. A word of warning. I used a baby walker for my son he was supervised whilst using it and never had an accident however since learning to walk he has been walking on his toes. Now nearly six he still hasn't broken the habit and the podiatrist thinks it is down to a baby walker. If I could turn back the clock he never would have used one.

Jasmine is nearly 8 months now and is on the verge of crawling. As a treat we decided to get a baby walker to give her a little bit of movement. I had a look round Ayr (my town and was quite shocked to find how little of these there were on sale. Only 3 in the whole of Ayr. Two in Mothercare, one of which was incredibly overpriced and ...  Read the complete review

I went shopping yesterday in the small town I live in and popped in to the charity shop where I saw a kiddicraft push along baby walker. It is like a small activity centre on wheels .It has a handle to push it with. The activity centre bit is at the front and has a mirror on it. Baby walkers...you either love them or hate them. Personally I hate them. You here so many horror stories about babies hurting themselves badly because of them tipping over. I know that they have been improved greatly from the early basic baby walkers, but even so... I always refused to have a babywalker for my children ...  Read the complete review
