Advantages: Good eye for goal and can play in many different positions.

It is strange to see a player travel from Everton to Liverpool. Usually it is Liverpool palming their rejects on Everton but never has a good player gone the other way. Nicky Barmby I think is a great signing. In the warm up games to Euro 2000 I thought that he was by far Englands best player and when it got to the Portugal game and Keegan had picked Wise I couldn't believe it. Barmby was the only player that showed anything to merit from the last friendly before Euro 2000, I thought that he was gonna be a sure thing for the Portugal game. It is good to seeing him doing well at Liverpool though. He is a great player and an excellent signing. Much bettter than all the pants that has gone the other way in transfers between Liverpool and Everton.
