Battle of the Energy Drinks

A whole new kind of energy drink is about to launch on to the market, it's called an Energy Shot and VOLTZ is a great example. It's a smaller, 60ml shot that gives a 5-hour energy boost and unlike many of the other energy drinks, has no sugar and it is not carbonated, meaning it doesn't have many of their downfalls (no sugar crash). It tastes kinda berry/cherry flavoured and comes in a small red/orange bottle. I've found these shots are a much better 'pic me up' after a big night out or going out straight after work. Being a student, enery drinks are a common part of my life. When i have a deadline I will go down the shop and buy a few cans of Relentless in a vain attempt to become focused and work hard through the night. Do they help me focus: Overall, I would have to say no. When i drink them i do not see a huge improvement in my concentration. Sometimes it makes me feel wierd if i have a bit too much. i drink quite a lot of energy drinks and like a few however i have my favourites as does everyone. my favourite energy drink is red bull however you cant drink a lot of them as they dont just wake me up they make me quite hyper. the taste of redbull is really refreshing. vodka is a good match for redbull as it stops me from getting too drunk and just makes you more lively. kick is tescos own version of red bull it tastes very similar but doesnt have the same effects. it doesnt make me have more energy i just find this a really refreshing drink which is a lot cheaper than red bull. you can get two bottles of it for just one pound fifty. boostis another ...  Read the complete review

Red Bull, I love Red Bull. It is one of the nicest tasting drinks I've ever tasted, and its one of the only energy drinks that actually work. You see, the thing is I hate sleeping, and I hate feeling tired. I see them both as a waste of time, time which I could use better and more wisely. Energy from Red Bull seems to be different than other energy drinks. It makes you want to MOVE and do things that you couldnt do if you were (I cant think of any other word) sober. Blue Bolt Energy Drink A cheap Red Bull or just a cheap imitation? Blue Bolt Energy Drink is Sainsburys own label and similar to Red Bull. But does this make it a cheap imitation or a good alternative? Sweet in flavour and lazed with caffeine its very similar to its more famous rival.
