Advantages: it is cheaper than red bull

Disadvantages: doesn't taste to good

I don?t usually buy lucozade, as I don?t find it to nice.
But I do occasionally and being that I bought a small bottle to give me some energy, only because I usually buy red bull. Only bought it because coop did not have any red bull.
Anyway back to this bottle.
I can only bear to drink it in little sips because

1 I find it to fizzy
2 It tastes kind of soapy
3 It is expensive

I remember when I was little (by the way I am still little )
My mum would buy it if I were ill. It was classed as a treat; I didn?t like it that much then either.
But I was made to drink it, as mum would say it will make you feel better, but it never did.

The bottle

It comes in a clear bottle covered with a red plastic coating,
With big yellow writing on it saying, LUCOZADE original energy.

The bottle I bought was a 380ml bottle but you can buy a bigger bottle.
It cost around 70p or for a big bottle around £2

The taste

Lucozade is yellow orange in colour.
It tastes like carbonated water but with a tang, I find it difficult to describe a taste so this is the only way I can describe it. I also find it leaves an after taste that is not too pleasant.

Ingredients

There are quite a few ingredient in this, I am not going to name them all as I do not type well and my spelling is poor and it would take me all day to it, so here a few

Carbonated water
Glucose syrup
Citric acid
Lactic acid
Flavorings (including caffeine)
Preservatives
Colours (sunset yellow)
Vitamins

Apparently you should not give it to children under 2 years of age I presume this is because it would send them loopy for a little while with all those preservatives and colour especially sunset yellow.

Verdict

If you enjoy the taste of soap and you want an energy boost buy lucozade if you don?t like soap but want an energy boost if you can h
andle the above. But for me I would rather stick to something that tastes a bit nicer.

Ooooh, I love lucozade - I was also allowed it as a treat when ill, but I was a lot happier about that than you!!! LOL

I have just had a brain wave - if you can have vodka and redbull, surely vodka and lucozade would be viable too!
I can't wait to try it!
