Belgium National Football Team

As co-hosts of euro 2000, i thought Belgium had a dreadful euro championship, they had a bd start and never look like recovering. It, was a shame because i do not think the Belgiums got into the festival mood like the Dutch, which was a shame as they had spent all that time and money hosting it. What I, think they should do in the future is only host it by themselves, so that way atleast you get a party even if you do not do so well in the championships ...

Belgium should have done a lot better in this tournament. After beating Sweden in the first match, they should have gone on to qualify. Even against Turkey they dominated the match and fell to the sucker punch of the counter attack goal twice. What they lacked was a real cutting edge up front, with strikers getting chances, but not being able to put them away. At least they provided the best comedy in the tournament, with their 'keeper's antics. That challenge against the Turkey forward for which he got sent off was incredible. ...
