Advantages: Showed how low McDonalds will go for profit.

Disadvantages: People are too stupid to get what they are doing!

Now I try not to watch too much TV as it is. And I take even less notice of adverts on the TV. However there is one recent advert that has really put my back-up, and I've found myself tutting loudly each and every time it appeared. The advert was for McDonalds, which is bad enough in itself. What made this the sickest piece of corporate crap from those evil money grabbing B******'s...? Destiny's Child, the official ambassadors apparently of World Childrens Day, encouraging the buying of fat-laden McDonalds products. The good people at McDonalds were giving a huge 50p from every Big Mac and Salad if you bought one on World Childrens Day. How kind of them! The 50p (just to add insult in injury) went not directly to starving children in Africa, or the war ravaged children of Iraq, no the 50p went right back to McDonalds own childrens charity.

I assume McDonalds childrens charity pays all the medical bills for the massively over-weight kids all over America, that have gorged themselves of fat soaked McDonalds burgers over the years. I'm gonna stop ranting now... All I have to say is, Well done McDonalds you've excelled yourself in smiley-corporate sickness.

With sales falling this seems like a last tacky attempt to keep the kiddies coming in.
