The saying goes your only '21' once, well for me this year its your only '31' once!
One birthday, one celebration..well not this year!
I always struggle on my birthday with it being the 6th January, everybody is partied out from Christmas and New Year, no one has much money so their just not in the party mood.
This year it was suggested to celebrate early. i was a little sceptical about this! So on December the 19th me and my friends accended on Taunton and had a good night out with drinks and partying! This was all good and people treated it like my birthday.

When my actual Birthday came around, i felt a little bit deflated, knowing that celebrations had taken place. However a couple of friends suggested a pub lunch, so off i toddled and met in the pub, this put me a little more in the birthday spirit as they made a real effort and there was also gifts and cards ;-) A pub lunch and some afternoon retail therapy, what more could a girl want.

With my husband being at home poorly i knew that we wouldnt be doing much in the evening, but i was ok with that.
However when i arrived home there was ballons out side the front door and when i went in my husband was stood there waiting with a birthday cake and presents. So put a smile on my face. He even cooked me a lovely meal despite him not being very well. So a lovely evening was had.

The following friday afer my birthday people suggested drinks again as some were unable to attend the last birthday drinks or stay late due to commitments. So out i went with the girls, drinks and dancing. Was a prefect way to end the birthday celebrations.

So who says your birthday only needs to be once, i feel like the queen or indeed Paddington bear with all these lovely celebrations.
