Blackburn Rovers F.C.Newest Review: ... and Liverpool must signal the end for Paul by Christmas at Blackburn as the gravitational pull to the championship increases at Ewood Park. The transfer window creaks ominously open for under pressure managers in December, their replacements waving at them through the open door like contestants entering a game show on TV to win the big prizes. Once the players sniff the chance to shift the ... more |

After my review earlier in the week on Sunderland, Roy Keane resigned as manager. I wonder if after a few days Paul Ince will no longer be in his post as Blackburn Rovers manager? Ince is officially the bookies favourite for the next premiership manager to lose their job. To be honest I don't think there is much Blackburn could have done during the defeat to Liverpool yesterday to change the score line, they were always going to lose that game, but will feel a little hard done by because it was goalless at half-time. I'm actually quite surprised that Ince was appointed manager of Blackburn in the first place. Previously with Macclesfield Town and Milton ... Read the complete review

Blackburn Rovers are a side that I feel stand a very good chance of making a big impact this season, and already we have seen them perform at an incredible level after demolishing West Ham United 7-1 midweek. Although I don’t think they’ll make it into Europe, it’s a real possibility that they’ll finish top 10 and have a decent cup run. Blackburn Rovers so far have won 3 games, drawn four and lost 3, and currently stand around mid table, and will definitely avoid relegation in my opinion. Lancashire clubs have been doing superbly in recent times, with Bolton and Blackburn both winning promotion last season, and of course Burnley and ... Read the complete review

Blackburn are finally back in the big time after what it seems like an eternity, but it is only two years. I feel Blackburn are back and more ready than they will ever be, with Gramme Souness at the helm and the talented young and old stars they have I feel they will do well. Henning Berg is an inspiration at the club passing on useful knowledge of the game to Craig Short, who is an up and coming star. In midfield it can't get much better for Blackburn when you see the likes of David Dunn and Damien Duff coming out of tunnel in my opinion. These two players are awesome and provide such natural talent on the pitch. Matt Jansen and Blackburn's new signing ... Read the complete review

Blackburn Rovers were promoted from Division 1 last season, into the premiership and I think that they will have a good season. I don’t think they will be relegated although they could find themselves battling it out with other low teams for safety, but I reckon that their team is too good and better than others to go down. In my opinion, Blackburn’s best players are David Dunn and Damien Duff. Nathan Blake was also one of their best lpayers, but Blackburn recently sold him to Wolves for 1.5 million pounds. All of these players can score goals and Blackburn will be hoping that these players score enough goals to help keep them in the ... Read the complete review
