We would like to highly recommend Mansditch Kennels. As an owner of a very nervous 18 month old border collie, I was dubious about leaving him at all when we had the chance of a holiday. After speaking to somebody who recommended Mansditch Kennels, we went to visit them and was instantly impressed. We have just returned from our holiday and our dog is fine. We would never hesistate to send him there again.

~~*~~*~~ Boarding Kennels & Catteries ~~*~~*~~ When it comes to choosing your holiday, the hotel itself features pretty heavily it has to be said. You wouldn't just pick the one nearest to the airport or go for the cheapest and hope for the best. So why is it that when it comes to man's best friend, many people are willing to use ... The cattery in chingford is the worst ever created, i believe it should be shut down! We go on holiday and expect our cat to be exactly the same as we left her happy, healthy like she always was. I disagree that they do everything they say, they must just about feed the cats.
Just 6 days into our holiday we recieve a phone call saying our beautiful cat has passed away, this is all thanks to this shit cattery as we gave her in extremely healthy and happy and this crap place managed to kill her! she lived perfectly for 13 years with us and in t he space of just under a week this hell hole managed to kill her.
I would not advise anyone to take their cat here it is the worst place ever!

We took home a different cat! September 06, 2008 Never again. I do not believe that the cats are fed twice a day! We took in a confident, happy, healthy, playful, and gentle cat - but when we went to pick her up she as already in her carrier (no idea how long she had been in there) and she was wild eyed ... I did work experience at a boarding Kennel in Buckinghamshire for my college course in animal care. They over booked and put some of the cats in guinea pig hutches and dogs in cages. I know some kennels aren't as bad but for some it is all about the money coming in. Any treats toys were put in a bag outside the pen/kennel and never given to the ... Read the complete review

Blue Grass Animal Hotel, Northwich, Cheshire
I have been leaving my pets here for 30 years, it's an excellent place for dogs, cats and other small pets. They have suites (four poster beds for dogs) and standard accommodation. The dogs are walked individually in a large fenced in field four times per day. My most recent dog was young and severely epileptic, they gave him his medication and stuck to his diet strictly per my instructions. Blue Grass has been open sine 1957 - all my animals have enjoyed their holidays there - if you want peace of mind when you leave your pets then I can certainly recommend this place.

When I first had Sandy, I didn't want to put him in the Boarding Kennels, and we were going away for three days so my parents came down my house to stay with him for the three days and he was as good as gold with them, as he like his own environment, which he is used to and he won't actually go to someone elses house. He starts to fret, even ... Read the complete review

When my daughter and I picked up our puppy on a Wednesday no one was in the front office. We waited for someone to show up for several minutes and no one did - it was 1 p.m. We saw a call button which said "Please do not hold." We pressed it, careful not to hold, but still no one showed up for several minutes. We then pressed it a few ... Read the complete review

Some people wouldn’t ever dream of putting their dog in kennels, others have no choice. I personally feel that it all depends on which kennel you use. When I first put my dogs in Kennels I was really worried that they would forget who I was or worse be so distraught that they became depressed. I shouldn’t have worried to much as the whole thing ... I have one cat – my beloved baby Purdy. When we were moving house, we had no choice but to put our dog in a kennel for a couple of days. We looked around and at first sight seemed OK. This was to be a big mistake as our poor dog must have wondered what on earth she had done to sent to this dog house. When we went to pick her up we discovered how she had been kept. The ... They sleep all the time; they don't do as they're told; they leave their mess all over the place and they have unusual eating habits. Unfortunately, you've got to take the kids on holiday with you. With the cats, it's a different matter. We've tried taking them away. We used to go to Cornwall a lot and our two (at ... Read the complete review

If you’re anything at all like me the thought of putting your beloved baby (or babies) into kennels this summer is enough to strike fear into your heart and make you actually consider staying at home instead of going on that seriously decadent, once-in-a-lifetime, no expense spared World Cruise that you’ve only been planning for the ... The ten-day holiday in San Francisco cost £700.00 including the car rental.
