Advantages: none
Disadvantages: too many to mention
A lot of people have opinions about what is happening and what scares me is that this war provokes reaction, provokes extreme thoughts and divides people by those thoughts. Even the man next door or your best friend could have a very different view from you which in itself is not a bad thing, but when thoughts become extreme and feelings become extreme, problems arise. So, instead of providing unity, which I believe was an initial assumption or belief of our Governments, this war has created disunity which descends from the leaders of our world to the next man standing next to us or to the child playing next to the child in the playground. Instead of loving our fellow man we become suspicious of our fellow man, and we move away in fear - leading to further disunity and seperatism, if there is such a word. A lot can happen from this feeling of unease. It can lead to extremists and it can lead to humans bonding together in extreme groupings and it can also lead to mistrust on a grand scale. I see our world dividing up not by country but by religion. I see a lot of mistrust. I see anarchy in many forms. Anarchy is not in itelf an option to order. Sounds very grave, but I just cannot see a way out of the present feeling that seems to be over the whole world, a feeling of mistrust between countries, a feeling of disunity, and it makes me think we have been here all before. I wrote an email to a friend of mine whose reply supported anarchy as being preferable to Bush and Blair but I really don't think that is the answer. It seems though in the Western World we have no faith in our leaders for they seem to be on a different agenda from what we ask or want them to be on. I am not necessary saying their agenda is incorrect or correct but surely democr
acy means they should take into consideration what we need or believe. When though should a government take control and take action without the consideration of the people? There must surely have been times like this in past wars or events that required action without consultation of the masses? In order though to allow this, we have to have trust, and I don't think we have this now, because our governments are acting without our authority, regardless of the reasons why or their justified actions. Ps I think at this moment in time everyone should be scared, but from fear comes reaction, and hopefully positive reaction, not negative.

I live with as many wrinkles as conflicts solved, and have as many conflicts as wrinkles unsolved. I am not writing to express great words or to sound important, I am just writing because I have the liberty to do so, and I have the power to do so and the freedom and this is why I am writing. It does not matter about paragraph spacing, or how many lines I write, all that it important is that we still have the freedom to write. It does not really matter what I say; I am just glad in the fact that I am allowed to express myself. To be able to express myself in any way I want is such freedom, regardless how I write and how I word my p's and q's. And the word is used, not use for those who seem to have a problem with my word spacing.
God, this sounds like Toy story. What levels do we stoop to? How goes it, Bo Peep?
