Advantages: a great night with amazing fireworks Disadvantages: can be dangerous i absolutly love guy fawkes night, or bonfore night as we call it. we always go to a large display close to our home. they children in our family always have sparklers and we usually make hotdogs. now we have a 3 year old it is made more fun as she can be included in the celebrations. we all get wrapped up in warm clothing, go for a walk down the canal to the bridge by our home and watch the display which usually starts at 7.30. it lasts for around 20 minutes and is always amazing. i love fireworks, especially in a controlled display. i dont really like bonfires as they scare me. this may stem back from when i was younger and used to think the fire would get to my house, but now i'm a grown up. lol i worry more that most of the fires are set up by young children and teenagers who may get hurt. if its a controled fire with adult supervision then thats great. the display we went to this year was one of the best yet and i cant wait until next year. bonfire night also reminds me that we are really close to christmas and thats always good :) Summary: a great family night. great fun. |
