Childish Games.

It's been around for some time.
A few months, I suppose.
I wasn't noticed.
And still it grows.
Until this day,
I have no clue,
Why they've picked on me,
And why they've picked on you.
We are in this together,
Have no doubt.
Even if they pulled me in,
I couldn't leave you out.
Don't worry my friend,
You can always count on me.
I'll always be here for you.
We're not sold separately.
I would never leave you behind.
How could I be so cruel?
Not like those other girls,
The ones from our school.
They push around the small ones.
They fight for success.
They can spot you a mile off.
But only if you're defenceless.
Show them you're not.
Prove you have the key.
Make them stop and think.
Make them want to flee.
Face up to the leaders,
And have no fear.
For goodness sake,
Make yourself appear.
Don't try to hide away.
You'll be wasting precious time.
Get back in the game,
And stick to the climb.
They're picking up individuals.
And making them their own.
I bet they have machinery,
To make each one a clone.
I know they want a war,
And they're raising up an army.
But fighting against them,
I think it's a bit barmy!
