As you see below there are many reviews talking about how much RAM is needed to run the simplest of games and other things. But to be different I thought I would tell you how not to be sold a crappy old computer. First off you need to find out where to buy from, if you know your stuff then go to a computer fair, you can buy top notch second hand computers, just make sure you get contact details if possible in case you find that there is massive amounts of problems with it. Second option is to go to shops who specialise in this area, E.g. PC World, I don't really recommend PC World as I find that the sales persons just want a quick sale, not the best for the customer, I recommend a small time shop, never a market stall as you may find that some are stolen, usually the seller will not provide you with a product key or any licence information from Windows or Mac if this is the case, start asking questions. So if you want my advice go for a company that is small based and is personal, don't order off the Internet (Ebay, Dell) as you never know what you get. Like in some cases I have heard, someone bought a desktop off Ebay to find that the box received was full of bricks. Don't buy off places who offer a monthly or weekly based payments, because usually they get a second hand machine and just delete everything off it (Format the hard drive). Well that's all I wanted to say, I hope you found this useful and will use all of these reviews. Thanks
Summary: Buy off small shops
