Advantages: Size, Coolness, PC connectable
Disadvantages: Small Remote Control
I first saw this product reviewed in the Daily Mirror at the end of November. It's the first truly portable player I have found that has the ability to connect to a home TV system and also to a PC (for use as a DVD-ROM or CD-ROM). Being only just larger than an actual DVD, the unit is great for moving around. I've taken mine to my friends house on many occasions to watch movies. I suppose it would also be great for people who wanted to take it on holiday with them. The unit itself is multi-zoned and the play back quality is pretty good. The only real downside is that the remote control is a little small but it?s okay. Another useful feature is that it works with both PAL and NTSC movies but of course you?ll need a compatible TV. It also has a USB cable included so you can either watch movies on your PC or use it as an external ROM drive. It?s a bit more expensive than most other DVDs in the market but the size factor for me make it?s a great unit (in fact it?s a little more trendy than normal players!).
