Advantages: losing weight quick
Disadvantages: the smell!
Then this is the diet for you, normally used in hospitals for patients that need to lose weight fast for a heart oparation for example! 1 large bunch of spring onions 2 green peppers 2x 28oz cans tomatoes 1 bunch celery 1 large head green cabbage 1 pkt onion soup mix 6 bouillon cubes (oxo) several cloves of garlic(optional) bay leaves(optional) cut veg in to bite size pieces, put all veg, except tomatoes, into pot. cover with water. boil fast for 10 mins, reduce the heat and simmer for approx 30 mins untill tender. add soup mix and simmer for 10 mins may be seasoned with salt, pepper, parsly, curry etc to taste. DAY 1 (of diet) (all fruits except bananas) Your 1st day will consiste of any fruits that you want, except bananas(cantaloupes and watermelons are lower in calories than most fruits) Eat you soup for drinks, unsweetend tea, canberry juice or water. DAY 2 all veg Eat untill you are stuffed with fresh, raw or cooked veg of your choice. try and eat leafy veg and stay away from dry beans, peas and corn. Eat your soup At dinner time reward youeself with a baked potatoe and butter-Eat all the soup you want but no fruit. DAY 3 mix days one and two. eat all the soup, fruit and veg you want but you can't have a baked potatoe today-ahh NOTE if you havw eaten for 3 days as above with no cheating, you will find you have lost 5-7lbs DAY 4 Bananas and skimmed milk Eat as many as 8 bananas and drink as many glasses of skimmed milk as you can on this day, along with the soup. Bananas and milk are high in calories and carbohydrates, but on this particular day of the diet your body will need the potassium and carbohydrates, protein and calcium to lesson the craving for sweets. DAY 5 Beef and tomatoes you may have 10-20ozs of beef and a can of tomatoes or as many as 6 fresh ones on this day. try to drink
at least 6-8 glasses of water on this day to wash out the uric acid in your body. eat the soup at least once this day. DAY 6 Beef and veg Eat to your hearts content, beef and veg this day. you can even have 2 or 3 steaks if you like, with leafy green veg. but no baked potatoe be sure to eat the soup at least once this day. DAY 7Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juice and veggies. again stuff yourself. be sure to eat the soup at least once today. At the end of the 7th day if you have not cheated, you will find you have lost 10-17lbs If you have lost more than 15lbs stay off the diet for 2 days before you resume the diet. The 7 day eating plan may be used as often as you like. DEFINITE NO NO'S BREAD, FRIED FOOD, ALCOHOL, FIZZY OR DIET DRINKS if you want to lose weight fast this is the diet for you! This diet although sounds gross its not all that bad and after all its only for 1 week. in my first week I lost 11lbs and in the 2nd week I lost another 9lbs. which I thought was brilliant I've never found such agreat diet untill this one and will defently be using it again whan I need to lose a few more pounds.

- 24/05/01 I'm not majorly overweight but am trying to lose a few pounds for my holidays. So how does this diet work? How does it burn the fat itself? And finally is it a healthy alternative for a laxative? Great op. Hobbits everywhere will be trying this one! |

- 25/03/01 Just read al the other comments others have made and dont know why theyre so objective.I reckon if your doing something positive about youw weight, then good for you!I wish I could actually get something done instead of just winging about it!Anyway.good luck and stay skinny xxxxxx
