Right, it’s a lovely warm spring morning, dry as a bone, and I’m sitting on my old Fireblade in pit lane at Cadwell Park Circuit. Waiting to enter the circuit just after the Mountain and before Hall bends. The Marshall flags us off and we’re away for a practice session on the full circuit – one of the best bike tracks in the UK, no worries. Cadwell is set in beautiful pastoral surroundings in Lincolnshire. Imagine a race circuit laid out over a small steep sided valley.
