Reserved a car with carjet for January 2009. Upon arrival in Malaga the local agent, SOL-MAR, refused me car hire as they don't rent to anyone under 25. My carjet paperwork said that the minimum age as 21, so as I'm 24 I didn't expect any problems. Emailed carjet several times, each time receiving the automated responce saying they will look into my complaint. So far I haven't had a reply. Ended up having to pay a great deal more with a local company, who incedently were very friendly and helpful!! (Autolidos). Luckily I hadn't paid carjet upfront as it would have been a nightmare to get my money back. In future I will book with an international company and pay that bit extra to know that the car I reserve will be there waiting for me, no hastle, no fuss. You should avoid this company like the plague!!!! You have been warned!!!
