The brief window that is called "the off Season" in Formula One may be a boring time for the TV viewers but its not so for the many teams around the world who are frantically designing next years car. Once these cars are ready to roll, much testing is required. This is where the Barcelona track becomes very important to the teams. From Late December onwards, many days are spent at Circuit De Catalunya which has become the home of most major off season Testing and is probably only 2nd in testing time after the British home of Silverstone.
