Advantages: few adverts, second chance to watch/record race, on terrestrial

Disadvantages: not live, doesn't encourage new fans to watch it

I'm a big CART (Indycar) fan. Its usually on Eurosport though when more important events are on eg U14 football from Venezuala - it gets quietly dropped.

This is where C5 come in. They have a program called 'Live and Dangerous' on most nights and on Tuesday morning about 4am - they show the last CART race.

It comes in a highlight package and is basically the Eurosport coverage with the British commentators.

I missed the Michigan 500 recently and so I taped the race. What impressed me were the lack of adverts. No-one watches at that time of the morning and so why bother - great stuff.

If you are happy to watch a race a few days late, can master a VCR and don't have satellite/cable - I would heartily recommend the coverage. Michigan had the 3rd closest finish in CART history and was brilliant.

C5 - please keep showing CART - I and others certaintly appreciate it !!
