Chelsea F.C. ... The Pensioners) are an English professional football club based in west London. Founded in 1905, they play in the Premier League and have spent most of their history in the top tier in English football. They have had two broad periods of success, one during the 1960s and early 1970s, and the second from the late 1990s to the present day. Chelsea have won three league titles, three FA Cups, four League Cups and two UEFA Cup Winners' Cups. During the 2005-06 season, they became Premier League champions for the second consecutive year. Chelsea's home is the 42,055 capacity Stamford Bridge football stadium in Fulham, West London, where they have played since their foundation. Despite their name, the club are based just outside the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. In 2003, the club were bought by Russian oil tycoon Roman Abramovich.

Chelsea f.c was founded in 1905 and has been a fairly successful club without ever really taking the world by storm. I have been a fan through thick and thin and have watched some excellent players and managers along with some fairly awful signings and managers. Some of the greats to play for this giant London club down the years have been, Celestine Babayaro, Didier Deschamps, Roberto Di Matteo, Jimmy Greaves, Frank Lebouf, George Weah, and the absolutely awesome Gianfranco Zola. The list goes on and on and of course dates back a lot further than I have gone but those are just a few of the players that for me have been outstanding for Chelsea football ...

You read this and think as I am a Chelsea fan, I am arrogant, unless you’re a Chelsea fan and you think I am a legend. Sometimes the majority of Chelsea fans look at the situation like this, if we did not have the money we would be better off, currently people like to take the Mickey that it's only because we have the money that we have the success, however they also seem to forget the years and years that Chelsea were finishing lower down in the league.
