Advantages: can make friends i suppose

circle of friends, really just a way to hand pick a few review writers that have done something that really stands out for you. For me personally, i just use this to "add" people that i know in real life, and rate and speak to them on dooyoo, rather than just add everyone.

Some people say that it is useful to have a large circle of friends, so you can read all the good reviews. For me personally, i only read and rate reviews for something that i am trying to find out more about. For example, currently i am considering getting a laptop, so i have read through a couple of reviews for any potential laptops that i am considering. For this reason, i do not tend to just read a review, for the sake of reading and ratinf a review.

But hey, some people like to get their dooyoo miles buy reading, rating and commenting on other peoples reviews, and there is nothing wrong with that, i just think in my opinon, i would rather use this site as a tool for helping me decide what i want to get, and get genuine advice, than using it like a social network, i've got facebook for that!
