Thousands of dooyoo members, including me, don't use their CoT the way they should. Many just stick as many members as is possible into their CoT with the idea they they will get more reads. But it doesn't work that way. Just because you put someone in your CoT doesn't mean they will even bother reading one of your opinions. I know I don't unless I've read your opinions in the past. The biggest tip I can give is not to fill your CoT with hundreds and in some member's cases thousands of other members. I would recommend choosing members for your CoT very carefully. In other words don't fill it with every single member who writes a good opinion. Look out for the members who always seem to read your opinions and do the same for them. Then add them to your CoT. When I started here on dooyoo I was a churner, like many others. But soon I realised I could get many more reads if I wrote proper and useful opinions. So I stopped writting 75 words of crap and started using dooyoo properly. Maybe I still write crap, but at least these days it's more than 75 words. During my churning days I added as many members to my CoT as possible. I regret this now, but its too late. I could delete those members from my CoT, but it would take years! Well hours, at least... To conclude, use your CoT properly and it will provide you with plenty of reads from members who also trust you. If you aren't a new member your CoT is probably already filled with members whose opinions you never read. If you're a new member then take this advice and use your CoT the right way.

- 18/08/01 Sorry, don't agree there is a 'right' way to use the CoF. I can think of several all with their merits. Kay |

- 18/08/01 If someone adds me to their COF whether I'd go and read any of their ops wouldn't be based on whether I'd seen them before, but whether they'd rated any of my ops before! Ben |
