Clubs in GeneralNewest Review: ... and flat on the other. Cabochons can be “set” in jewellery by silversmithing, wire wrapping, beadwork or pre-formed silverwork. You would be amazed how much money you can save by making your own cabochon. A good one usually takes about 4 hrs and $8 to make but I have seen bad ones for sale at jewellers for about AU$170. BEADWORK: The beadwork my club does involves gluing cabs to suede and ... more |

Rock and gem clubs, or “lapidary” clubs are a good way to connect with others in your community who are interested in lapidary arts. They are usually family-friendly, don’t take too much physical effort and can teach you how to produce beautiful gemstones. Lapidary clubs are usually cheap to join (I pay AU $20 a year for my membership to the Essendon Gem & Lapidary Club in Melbourne, Australia). They are very helpful in all aspects of lapidary and can link you to a wider network of lapidary exhibitions, statewide events and suppliers wherever you are. Here are some cool things I have done with my club: CABOCHONS: These are polished gemstones ... Read the complete review

About nine years age my next door neibours bought a caravan and suggested we might do the same so that we could all go away together for weekends. My husband wasn't very keen, he said he wasn't sure if he wanted to tow a van. I didn't mention it again until several weeks later when I saw a small 10ft van for sale in our road, I thought I night persuade him as it was only small. He very reluctantly agreed, so I bought it. We got it home, it was quite old but in very good condition for the year, but after close inspection decided it was too small ( 2 berth ) We thought we might take my daughter and grandson with us occationally, so decided to sell it and get a 4 berth one ... Well I have predicted the premiership and European games in the run in so what not the other look. Like their sponsors they may be deemed as second class in their field.and perhaps in most cases, a special cut-rate second mortgage by em. One or two thins have been resolves this week, buts its never too late to get your say in on dooyoo, how ever controversial. DIVISION ONE. As expected Manchester City pi***d it, even with the obvious handicap of the headless tactician in Keegan and the seemingly equally hopeless radar of Julian Goater. But the cloven hoofed one was fed and the permed one did good. Three points on Saturday lunchtime against Michael ... Read the complete review

The words ‘gloom and doom’ have had a lot of meaning lately. Believe it or not, I am still in denial that Robbie has gone. This does remind me very much of the day that Shankly announced his retirement, both days I will always remember where I was, and what I was doing. However there was life after Shankly and I am sure that there will be after Robbie. The question still remains ‘why’? I think it has become obvious that Robbie did not totally fit in with Houlier’s & Thompson’s plans. The reason for this, I feel, will never be fully known. The ‘rotation system’ was used on many occasions to blame ... Read the complete review

Now I am really fed up with the Priemerships players at the moment reguarding all this strike business and they way in which they try to make it look like they are doing it for the good of everyone from themselves to 3rd division players it is a load of rubbish and what's more if they are so worried about helping others less fortunate than themselves why not put in themselves. Now the likes of David beckham etc have all been saying that the TV money paid for rights to show games is not fairly split and that they would like a lot more to go towards the players union for helping injured players and those that have disputes sort of like the RMT on the trains ...
