Advantages: Great Attacker, Great Career
Disadvantages: Old, not as fast as he was.
Andy Cole, Fulham?s new signing has had a Fascinating career, playing for 7 different clubs. And would you believe me if I said he started his career off at Arsenal. Arsenal (England) Andrew Cole had came up the ranks of the Arsenal youth team and during his 2 year spell of Professional football, he only managed to play 1 game. That game turned out to be His only for Arsenal so Far. His first professional goal would come next season in the white shirt of Fulham. Fulham (England) (Loan) Technically, Andy Cole was still an Arsenal player when he scored his first professional goal. The England centre-forward went on to score 2 more goals that season in 13 games. It wasn?t a bad record, but Fulham Didn?t want to keep him. He ended up having a great season with Bristol City the following season. Bristol City (England) The 1992/1993 season was when Andrew Cole introduced himself to the footballing world. Scoring 20 goals in 41 appearances made him to good for a team like Bristol City to keep. The following season he moved up north to Newcastle United, the club where the whole world would here of his name. Newcastle United (England) During a 2 year spell with Newcastle United he scored 55 goals in 70 games. These goals he scored didn?t help Newcastle to the Premiership title, but it helped Andrew Cole to become a fans favourite around the club. That was until he accepted a move to Premiership Rivals Manchester United. The Newcastle fans hated him. Andy Cole had left from their club to Deadly rivals Manchester United. Manchester United (England) During his first two seasons at Old Trafford Andy Cole wasn?t as prolific in front of goal as the United fans expected. In his first two seasons Andrew Cole played 72 games and scored 29 goals. During the course of the 1997/1998m season Andy Cle netted 15 goals in 33 games. By the next season his tally had risen to 17 goals playing 32 times that season. But Andrew
Cole?s best season of his life was the 1999/2000 season. The goals weren?t what was good about it, the fact that they completed the treble was. Andy?s 19 goals in 28 games helped them win the Premier league; he also scored important goals in Europe. The next season though Ruud Van Nistelrooy Joined the club, forcing Andy Cole out of United?s starting 11. In his last 3 seasons at United Andy Cole only played 45 games, scoring 22 goals in them. He had left United on a bad note, his move to Blackburn Helped him Though. Blackburn Rovers (England) His first season at Blackburn couldn?t have been much better, he scored 9 goals in 15 appearances. At the end of the season the news got better, his goal-scoring partner at United had Joined Blackburn. Andrew Cole and Dwight Yorke were up front together for the 2002/2003 season but it didn?t do any good scoring just 15 goals between them in a combined 67 games. It was a major disappointment for Andy and Blackburn, the following season he hardly touched a ball in Competitive Football. Fulham (England) After being released by Blackburn, Andy Cole moved back to the club where he scored his first professional goal. He will be there during the 2004/2005 season hoping to make the Londoners move up the league table and finish in a high position.
