Advantages: Tasty food, very easy plan to follow, online supportive forum

Disadvantages: vegetarian options a little limited at the moment

I started on the diet chef plan almost 3 weeks ago now and am absolutely amazed at how easy it is to follow! The food is delicious and is ready within 2-3 minutes of popping in the microwave. It requires no refrigeration and is easy to store. The diet chef company are very easy to contact on the telephone (no queuing on the line) and delivery of the diet chef hamper was problem-free.

I am particularly pleased that there is a great online forum. Rather than going to a weekly slimming class for support and encouragement - there is a whole online community of people all on diet chef. New people are joining every day and it's like being part of a club of people all chasing the same goal. We share tips and offer support to anybody who might be struggling - as well as getting to know each other online.

I had 3.5 stones to lose when I started on diet chef 3 weeks ago - so far I have lost 13 pounds! I think this is a great loss considering it has been so easy - and I have not increased my exercise level very much at all (only a little more walking)

For the first time in years I know that I am going to reach my target weight. My motivation is as high now as it was on day one. The variety of meals for meat-eaters is fantastic - no need to be bored. The food really does taste home made and with it being low GI it keeps you feeling full for many hours.

I have no negative comments to make at all from my point of view - the only negative point I can see is that the vegetarian choices are limited at the moment. Other than that - it's all good!

I would definitely recommend diet chef to anybody thinking of trying it - I have already ordered my 2nd hamper!
