I don't have faith in local police. Policing has got worse over the years. The money allocated to police forces throughout the country is simply not enough.

Little crime wave in an area stretches resources to the limit. Whose fault is it? I blame Labour and Tories on this issue. They talk tough but failed to back up.

In order to keep the forces running most of the duties are being taken away. Special police, traffic wardens, private companies are being allocated less important work. Is this right, probably not because if there is a problem with Police force it comes out in the open. This will not happen with private contractors.

Those in the police force are doing good job in the main. Police men and women lay their lives on the line. For this they deserve more money to do the job and to live.

Forget sending Army abroad, forget Iraq and work for United Nations. Free that money to spend on police force .
