Advantages: Money, people.

Disadvantages: Time spent.

I am not sure for a start that I am addicted to Dooyoo. I could live without it, though as certainly become habitual......well maybe I am on the way to addiction, lol.

I like it, I visit several times per day though I am going to be totally honest and say that I mainly do it for the money. There are other perks which I will go into, but lets start with the money.

~~~The Money~~~
I have a 'holiday account' set up and all my Dooyoo earnings go into that. Along with my wifes earnings on Amazon marketplace. As I earn £50 every 3-5 weeks, it soon adds up.
The reward system is more than fair in my opinion, you get paid for writing anything, however, my feeling is that if you write well, then people want to read your reviews and you get more clicks, hence more payment. Of course you only get more reads and rates if you read and rate others...it's like, how the site works, doh!
~~~The People~~~
Prakispark, MCICP, Rleigh and a few others have been really fun to chat with by message and it has been great to encourage each other and see our writing skills grow. I also share a fair few interest with some folk so that is cool. It is also good to see some familiar faces from Ciao coming over to the 'light side'.

Can't be doing with some of the folks on site so I pretty much ignore them, they are usually the very opinionated, or extremely knowledgable about everything types, though pedantisism gets a particular avoiding steer from me too.

The guides are definitely 80/20 okay, most have been really helpful when I have asked things of them and that is appreciated. There are one or two guides who act as if they are a little above everyone else and that bugs me, but hey ho, that is life in general.

~~~The Writing~~~
Part of what I do to earn a living is write, anyone wants to check my website for what I have written, feel free. The trouble is, most of my written work is quite dry and academic, so here I get a chance to write with a little more fluidity and humour. I really try to think of fun titles too.
~~~The Reading~~~
I have learnt a fair deal from reading other's reviews and being a music addict it is great when I get into new music via the reviews, and yes, music reviews are my fave's, though I have to say the cosmetics reviews have enabled me to earn many brownie points with Mrs H.

Love the film and game reviews too, and the sports reviews.....in fact I like reading lots of reviews, I read and write fast, so Dooyoo, no more warnings about speed clicking please!

~~~Crowns~~~
I am not addicted to these at all, it is a real bonus when I get one, and a scream if it is for a jazz or saxophone related review. I do not really get it when people get so stressed about crowns, again, hey ho.
~~~Downsides~~~
Well this 'addiction' (I am not an addict) is costing me at least 2 hours per day.

I am always looking around the house for review worthy goods.

My wife thinks I am mad.

~~~Finally~~~
Not addicted, but definitely, I can say, Dooyoo has become a part of my life. Ciao has now gone, after 4 and a half years I am no longer a Ciao member. Dooyoo is enough for me.
Okay, I have just realised whilst writing this (well actually my wife told me), I probably am addicted as it has been a couple of days since my last review and I was desperate to write another.....now I have had my fix I'll be opkay for a day or two (suggestions on the way, lol).
Summary: Dooyoo addiction.
At £650 a year just from dooyoo (going by about £50 every 4 weeks) that's pretty much enough for a holiday right there! Well done!
