My name is Sarah and I have an addiction. A Dooyoo addiction.

Initially joining this site was supposed to be 'easy money' this would get me out of some of my credit card debt. 50p per review, why..... I will review a pencil if it made me money. I did aim to have high quality reviews, but have a lot of them.

This however has gone by the by. As I have changed focus, I wanted more reads. I wanted people to read and rate honestly, I wanted people to say - hey that was a great review, which really helped. So I have been spending more time on reviews, (trying to) set them out better, so it's easier on the eye. I won't pretend that I have written 2000 word reviews on yogurt, as it's not necessary, but I have been trying. But this had led me (since January) to the addiction of Dooyoo. I read and rate a lot. Not as much as some people, but while I'm at work (it's very quiet!) I am reading, rating, and enjoying some fantastic reviews, buying things (or putting them on my list) of things I might want. I have never bought a Lush product in my life, but you can bet your bottom dollar that as soon as this card is paid off, I will be referring to my list of Lush products and which to try first.

Some talented and hilarious writers reside here and I stalk their writing at every opinion. I am addicted to their stories. I have learned things about people's families, things that have happened to them, and things they would probably not share with people face to face, and maybe that I'd be too embarrassed to listen to. But this is all an addiction to an online community which I can be part of anytime I like, and I can leave when I like. But I don't want to. Some of the things on this website have made my eyes wet with tears, as I sit at work (luckily with my colleagues behind me) a lady wrote about how Cancer affected her and her husband. I cried throughout. It was a tale of strength, courage and love. But unlike some of the not so great movies we review it was all true, and she had decided to share it with us. I felt honoured to be part of this and from this she received my nomination.

I come into work in the morning. My PC goes on; I load up e-mail and Dooyoo. I check to see how my last couple of reviews have done, comments and what people thought. Then I check my work e-mail ! After this boring task is done I get onto the newest reviews list. I get inspiration from my peers and write down things I would like to write about, this doesn't always pan out, but I have a list to work from if I get lost! Throughout the day I refresh the new opinions and see new ones piling up every hour - I often thing some Dooyooers are far more fanatical than I am, but I try to read the ones that interest me, that have a funny title, or by someone's writing I enjoy reading. Unfortunately I go more on picture rather than screen name, so when people change it, it stumps me for a while!

I have accumulated over 3400 rates from my fellow Dooyooers, which I think is a great achievement for under 100 reviews. Currently on my list of things to write about is a book I just finished, in it everything was so coincidental it was almost laughable, so I must warn people to read at their peril! This also means I need to find a new book to write about. I also may rewrite my opinion on The Shield. I am nearly finished with the final Season - 7- and I am not happy with the review I wrote when I had only just finished Season 1. I want to write about food products I had and even though they were cheap as chips, they were a great Credit Crunching dinner!!

My addiction is not one I want to fight. I'm gonna carry on, I'm gonna write a masterpiece, I'm gonna get a crown (one day) and be queen of the addicts. I'm gonna read all the opinions I can, and write as well as I can.....
