Advantages: friendly site with added bonus of being paid!

Disadvantages: revenge raters-why?!

It started off innocently at first- once maybe twice a week that was all.
But after a while that wasn't enough, I craved more.. soon it was nearly everyday, and before I knew it it was several times a day I couldn't help myself.
I thought about it at night and in a morning...I am referring to my addiction to dooyoo of course. I think it's something that a lot of you will understand and hopefully I am not alone!

I first checked out the site back in October, when my penpal ('dooyooer'-Leeanne160480) mentioned it to me in a letter saying it was a site I might enjoy.
At first I thought I could just write as many reviews as I could to earn a reward, and I am very ashamed to say that's what I did. I was lucky enough to reach 10000 dooyoo miles and managed to get my boys the new Thomas and friends dvd from amazon for nothing as I saw it.
Then something changed- I got an email from dooyoo saying some of my reviews were only sub standard and I would have to improve any future ones.
It shocked me as I thought all the 'Useful' rates I had been getting were good!
It was the kick up the backside that I needed and really made an effort with my following reviews as more than anything at least I knew that I was trying harder..and it seemed to work as I started getting more 'Very Useful's' than 'Useful'!
It took a while to get into how the site works as well as I was expecting people to rate my reviews but stupidly I never thought to read/rate many reviews back! I have learnt my lesson now and really do love the site- I enjoy reading about products and things I might not necessarily have tried before but after reading other peoples thoughts it has swayed me one way or the other.
I think it's a really friendly site too although I have experienced the wrath of revenge raters- which I have just one thing to say-GROW UP!
As I state on my profile I don't pretend to be some brilliant writer- I am a stay home mum of two young boys so my reviews are based on everyday things I use or have tried- and at the end of the day it is the enjoyment of writing that counts isn't it?
Well now I have written this I am turning the laptop off..or maybe I will just check my profile to see if anyone has been rating my reviews-only for a few minutes of course...
