Advantages: We can earn money and have honest reviews about products
Disadvantages: All you think about is where you'r next review is going to come from ....
I first heard of Dooyoo from my sister-in-law (Kimbles245, who heard about it from Nixtee - they are both on here ). She told me that you can earn money just from writing a review on anything and everything. I orginally thought this must be some kind of scam. Why are people giving you money for nothing?
But then she told me that she had received her 1st amazon voucher and I was amazed! I rang her and we discussed Dooyoo in great detail, covering everything from earning money to the terms and conditions!
Still not quite believeing that this site could be legitimate, but on the other hand hearing some many good things from Kim, I decided to join. My view was that even if it was a scam, what could I possibly lose? I don't have to enter bank details so they can't rob me, and I don't have to enter really personal details so that can't steal my identity!! The most I could lose was my time writing the reviews. So this sealed it for me, and I signed up.
After writing my first review and seeing my account credited with Dooyoo miles, I was hooked. All I kept thinking about was seeing those Dooyoo miles go up and up so I could get an amazon voucher! After hearing that I could write 5 reviews a day (which is £2.50!!! I was amazed!) I was hellbent that I had to write all 5 reviews. So my first day of Dooyoo was made up of me wondering around the house to find something I could review, then write about it, and start all over again until I had reached my 5 limit! I quickly stopped writing all 5 reviews a day as I was running out of things to write about! Then I got paid and had to go shopping ....
Walking around Morrisons, I was picking up things and wondering if I could review it well. I started putting things in that I wouldn't normally buy and before I knew it I had spent over £150!! There is only me, my partner and out 3yr old son in the house so this was quite excessive for a one-week shop, but I just had to have loads of things to review! Needless to say, my partner had something to say about the amount of money I had spent! I told him all about Dooyoo, and he asked me how much I had earnt after being on it a few days and it was a small amount (around £3 I think!), He told me that it would take me months and months to get to £20 for an amazon voucher, and years to get to £50 or a cheque. But just 2 months later, I am already on £45! I told him the other day how much I had earnt ..... now hes not complaining, and has started writing a list of things he wants off Amazon!
However, I have decided to put all money earned into my son's child trust fund account so that he has a good amount of money behind him when he's 18 (oooo that's scary saying 18!).
I am happy and annoyed that my sister-in-law told me to come on Dooyoo. Happy because I am earning money, but annoyed because all I can think about is what I'm going to review next! So here goes my admission to my addiction ...
