I've got writers block. Not on Dooyoo, on a 2,000 word Open University assignment that has to be completed in 4 days. I've been looking for divine inspiration at 5 in the morning, hoping my thought processes will have undergone a major transformation over night, but I still sit and look at the 377 words I've written and draw a blank. So I've closed Word down and decided that tonight as I close my eyes the brain fairy will wave her wand and tomorrow I will be able to put finger to keyboard and produce my most amazing analysis in less than 48 hours.

You don't think so? No neither do I really. Still in the mantime I thought I'd try a little displacement activity - Dooyoo.

The thing is with Dooyoo the site is populated with serious writers, churners, game buffs, film enthusiasts, moaners groaners and shopoholics, all with something to say, in their own style.

I can't write like those Dooyoo gurus, my opinions don't hold your eyes on the screen to very last word. I can do factual, not descriptive, I can do helPful, not informative, I can do humourous, not funny.

Something I am extremely envious of is those that can write a film review and analyse, describe and tell the tale without revealing the plot or the major scenes. My film reviews lack excitement. And what about those that can write an original and very interesting op on cheese?

My Mum Lamorna is a good writer, I didn't know she could write like that, I didn't know she felt like that sometimes!

I've used Dooyoo for loads of reviews on websites mainly, other peoples experiences, whats safe and whats not.

I'm addicted in two ways, yes there's a few quid to be made, and my word there's some stuff to learn!

If only someone had experience on this 2000 word assignment for E211.....
