I discovered opinion sites about 6 months ago. The first site I came across was Ciao. At that time it paid 10p for writing an opinion, and 2p for each read. I found it addictive, and tried to post 5-10 quality opinions each month.

Then I discovered Dooyoo (by accident!). I visited and became addicted to it too! At the time I joined, it paid more than Ciao - 10p for writing an opinion and 5p for each read.

Doing a few quick sums, it appeared that potential earnings were higher at Dooyoo. However, as one of my earlier opinions pointed out, Ciao's Premium Fund appeared to me to be much more generous than Dooyoo's "crowns". At the time of writing this opinion, I have received 15 Premium Fund awards, but NONE of my Dooyoo opinions have ever received a crown.

Still for a number of months I've been visiting both sites, made a few friends, and generally enjoyed reading a whole variety of opinions. And, of course, made a little pocket money along the way.

BUT all that is now changing. I suspect that anyone visiting the sites for money will be disappointed in future. Neither Ciao nor Dooyoo will be paying for writing opinions. They have also reduced their payout rates for reads:

Ciao will pay a measly 1p per read, Dooyoo 3p.

So, I'm not going to get rich quick, but I'll still be here because I'm addicted!! Are you?
