I still consider myself new around here, but why not give my view about this.

How do I rate and comment? To be honest I don't comment that much on people's reviews. It's not that I don't have much to say and I like when people comment on my stuff. I read some reviews and the same people seem to write the same comment on a good few different reviews. Whereas that isn't that bad to get the odd "great review" or "well written" it's when I read the same comment on different reviews and so on that I feel that the comment is being re-used for just getting the person's name out there, which isn't that a bad thing.

How do I rate? Well I do rate accordingly. I don't just give a very useful just because someone has just given me one. I done a recent review and everyone gave me very useful and 1 person gave me somewhat useful, and I realised I gave them a somewhat useful, as did everyone else who read their review, as it wasn't that good, so I can't be bothered with revenge raters!

I will go down my last few reviews and rate everyone who has rated mine. Most of the people who rate my things write about things I am interested in, and the things I don't think I am interested in, I end up reading about other things that I end up learning about. I don't tend to go through and rate my circle of friends, as I don't really use it that often and also most people who have added me to their circle don't seem to be writing anymore.

Certain members say that you shoudl only read and rate what you are interested in, but it's not that I am rating to try and get loads of rates myself, it's all about getting your name about. I usually look through the new reviews and if there is something interesting standing out then I will rate that as well.
