dooyoo Messageboards and Groups in general

Newest Review: ... the seperate components of it. (It was my idea and I wish I had kept my big mouth shut because I've got to do it now!) ~~Ciao~~ This part is for members to explain to other members how Ciao works and to discuss how they are doing on it. I don't belong to Ciao, it looks a bit complicated to me, but if I did, there would be lots of help available here for me. ~~Everything Else~~ This is the largest section and, as the heading suggests, we can (and do) talk about everything in there. At the moment the topics range from Birthdays, Unisex loos, topical news, puzzles, what you spend your earnings on, competitions etc etc. Some of the topics... more

This review is about one specific Dooyoo message board. I have only belonged to two and visited another one briefly so I will write about the one I know most about. The Dooyoo message board 'Dooyooer's Den' has been up and running for a few weeks now and I have been knocking around there since it opened. It was formed with a nucleus of members from the now defunct Dooyoo Lovers. It's a friendly board and is well moderated by Eilidhcatriona. It is open to all Dooyooers but you need to apply for membership. That sounds like a contradiction in terms but it simply means that the Moderator has an opportunity to check that you are who you say you are. ...  Read the complete review

If you were to go down to Dooyoo Creek and pan the Dooyoo River for Dooyoo members then the ones with the biggest egos on site would inevitably remain in the pan, too big to fall through the gauze, dooyoo affiliated message boards being the pan, of course. Hey, it was a tough metaphor to work in guys! And yes I didn't fall through the pan. The people on message boards can sometimes be angry with the world, or just mellow and using the boards for what they are designed for, here to get info on dooyoo and chat with fellow members, always a good mix. Some of those may have rather too much time on their hands and so looking for a stage, be it to spout off on their ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review dooyoo Messageboards and Groups in general: A place for your views, not your reviews (342 words)

Dooyoo Messageboards sounds like a great idea to me - at the moment the comments section of reviews tend to get clogged up with rubbish, and a forum would be the most effective way of keeping the actual reviews focused. I am a member of a few forums, and I can imagine some of the stronger personalities on Dooyoo having a right kick-off on a dooyoo forum, but that's what it's all about isn't it? A place to air your views, not your reviews. OK, so Dooyoo should make a forum, and some of the boards in it should be the following: 1) Introduce yourself New members can introduce themselves and have little chats here, explaining how they ...  Read the complete review

I sometimes think that one of the things lacking with Dooyoo is an official message board where you can share news, tips and that sort of thing, where you can have discussions about current issues and the like, there is nothing really out there for people to use and the site might benefit from such a place as it could provide feedback to the site and also suggestions for how it could be improved. There is a Dooyoo group on facebook which I have seen but not joined mainly because the groups on facebook do not really achieve much and seem quite pointless most of the time plus facebook is more about keeping in touch with people as far as I'm concerned so I do not ...  Read the complete review

dooyoo Messageboards and Groups in general: Hi - Dooyoo you're the best (211 words)

Hi Dooyoo in my opinion is a wonderful website, where you can make loads of new friends, earn dooyoo miles, read peoples opinions on things and also express your own feelings about things you have tried or done. I cant find a better website than this on the internet. I hope you never close Dooyoo as i really enjoy writing about stuff i love or dislike, as readers can then have a kind of insight into the products etc they may wish to try/buy! There were alot of products that i didn't use, but am now using, due to the fact of all the information on these dooyoo opinions! It feels nice to know that you can help people by what you write! You can ...  Read the complete review
